It doesn't have too. Despite all the drags (usually misogyny) thrown her way, she continues to win. The ratings for her show gets lower, yet her check gets bigger. Two years ago we were talking about how hated she is in the fashion community and now she has covered 3 different Vogues, the CR Fashion Book, is eating lunch at parties thrown for HER by Valentino and just presented an award at the CFDA Awards. Her game grossed more than some of these girls tours. So if people wanna call her a ****/talentless, so be it.

Kim's celebrity is irritating because it's symtomatic of how the media and the world rewards certain people with everything when they don't even DO anything simply because they somehow ascend to a position in the zeitgeist where people want to be them. She is not an actress. She has no music career (although she tried, lmao). She is not a model. She is not an author. She just is. She represents that vacuous, fame-as-a-virtue-in-itself black hole of mindless consumerism that is so rampant in Hollywood. She disgusts me because of it and makes me want the ass implants to explode and for North to be orphaned.
