The "Bad Blood" video has some nice shots but it's not great. Being filled with C-listers and D-listers doesn't help either, I'm not surprised all of Taylor's more relevant/respected famous friends like Lorde said no.
It just feels like her pretending to be a 'bad bitch' pop star instead of actually being one. If you compare it to the "Toxic" video (the obvious blueprint, also by the same director) it's painfully apparent...Britney OWNS that role whereas Taylor looks like a suburban white girl playing dress up. I feel like if they had made the super spy thing a make believe scenario it would have worked better...like, if the clip started out with Taylor as a regular girl finding out that her friend slept with her ex boyfriend, and then she imagines this whole scenario where she gets revenge on her.
I mean a narrow catwalk with no railings or harnesses or anything going up VERY high in the air I'm surprised no one has said anything about it. I would feel nervous if I was in the pit standing underneath it. All it takes is for one of the dancers to slip and someone could die.
