Yes Austria did a horrible job, poor hosts, technical issues, awful filler. Conchita really saved them, she was a true professional, very entertaining, just a joy to watch. Giving her such a big role was the only thing they did right.
Some people claim on the ESC Facebook page in several posts that Albania should have won, when the song was just a fart in the wrong direction.
Albanians are going crazy on all the pages related to ESF like a pack of wild hyenas. They are convinced Albania should have won and are pressed that their diaspora votes didn't count for more. They rigged the Voice of Italy that way and hoped to do the same with these finals.
You don't see Armenians crying, or Poles (to that extend) it's always the Albanians when I check their profile.
Albanians complaining about block voting and politics, and than saying they should've got much more points just because there are many Albanians in some countries. The hypocrisy.
All the performers from the last four years in Israel lowered their profile a lot since their Eurovision.
The saddest is Moran Mazor, the ESC actually ended her career
the same case in Poland. The only artist that recover after Eurovision are Edyta Gorniak, Ich Troje (who actually ended their career but not because ESC).
All random acts like Lidia Kopania, Isis Gee, Magdalena Tul - they all were unknow before Eurovision and after ESC they are known only from disaster at eurovision and no one knows them anywhere.

Well tbh, I think they're right about Italy. Elhaida won The Voice Italy so I feel like she should've scored something from them, but since the juries killed it...
