This challenge kind of reminds me of the S5 challenge where we had to write songs for famous artists. I did Taylor and, despite how Jackson probably remembers it, won the challenge (tying with my bb Tymps. and someone else). Jackson got a cute 4th place tie with Euphoria though.
Still annoyed about this because
a) pop songwriters are not expected to adapt their style in this game
b) why wouldn't you give anyone first place, like that's pretty mean.
Blooming Up Records is a smaller label I guess. We'll be a big machine with the right material though
WELL then I could still do a country song and apply for your label and after you sign me I'll be mega successful and then I'll force you to do as I say when I crossover to Pop (I'm a mainstream bish at heart so I just used country) and then eventually after 5 4M+ selling albums I'll buy your label still want the right material?
Country and Rap, discounting what they've devolved to, are some of the hardest genres to write. Being able to tell a good story when you're limited to an accessible song format for is honestly more challenging than it sounds, and well...I think most people know how hard it is to do well with a rap song in this competition.

In all honestly I love and stand by my titles/hooks even though I know other people can't stand them. They unlock a really bright, bubbly, cheerful, child-like and pure side to me that I really enjoy and make a really refreshing perspective to write from when you're actually stressed with responsibility in real life. It feels good to push your commitments away for a few hours and think like a kid, you know?
