I expected the lead this year but honestly she needs some rest from all that touring. A summer 2016 lead single à la Cali Iconic Girls would be just perfect (plus Taylor never releases in the summer she always goes for the Thanksgiving period so Katy will be safe)

I want her to release K4's lead single in Q4 this year. She needs her streak of a #1 hit every year since 2010 to continue.
She should release it sometime in November, just in time for the holiday sales and perform it at the AMAs. If she needs more time to record the album then she can drop the second single in February in time for the Grammys then release the album in late March.
9-10 months should be sufficient for the album production.

I also read somewhere that they used Ari because of scheduling. GOYK was/is supposed to be out as a single late summer and Katy was out because of schedule conflicts...What's she doing at that time thats conflicting that would cause her to not help promote it? The tours on a break until Fall...maybe she just wants a FULL break..?
