I was just thinking this. A June 30th deadline & then lyrics/melodies have to be written before its even pitced to her team. We're in for a wait girls.

Depends on if these will be singles or just album tracks. With a deadline like that; it's possible for an October release date with a single in August(Hopefully)

She works A LOT of time on an album.

Sometimes that's not good, that's what happened with Bionic. The concept of the album was pretty new and fresh when she started working but it was TOTALLY BURNED by the release time.

Agreed. Trends change and evolve pretty quickly in pop music. It was upsetting to hear everyone claim Xtina was copying Gaga's success (as diehard stans knew Legend was working on a 'futuristic' album way before Gaga even emerged on the scene) but that's the risk you take when you take 4 years to make an album. X works at a leisurely/comfortable pace too, but there are a lot of people (artists, producers, etc) who are hustling workhorses and are constantly churning out things.

I don't think that is what happened with Bionic though. I feel she had the original Bionic already ready, but because of filming Burlesque and getting inspired in a different kind of way, she recorded more material, but because she didn't wanted to scrap the gems she recorded before, she basically sacrificed it's concept and made it one big album. If she didn't recorded more tracks, Bionic would have been more of a complete opposite of B2B

I was thrilled when Goldfrapp announced they were working with her for Bionic. That never quite came through sadly. The deluxe tracks on Bionic are some of the best of her career. I stan hard for "Little Dreamer."

I'm beginning to get excited for the next era. No more The Voice for the rest of the year. It seems like she is dedicated to making an effort this time.
