The younger generation is not in touch with Brittany and Christina and that's how they lost their relevance. People who are like 14 and under probably do not know any of their songs.
Maybe I'm being a lil biased, but I don't think that's true in Britney's case. Xtina? Yes.
South Korea actually has music experts/industry folk rank their girl groups into tiers based on success (like Forbes/Time, but more music focused) and it's actually a big deal.
Could you imagine if we had that with our pop girls?
Britney is definitely comparable success-wise to MJ and Whitney, only without the talent. Let's not lie.
Nicki is A List if Katy is, imo
Are you serious?
Both these comments.
Whitney and MJ had FAR more successful careers than Britney. From albums, to singles, to tours. That's FACT, Collin.
Britney hasn't sold a half the albums Whitney has, much less Michael Jackson.
Nicki doesn't have a third of Katy's selling power or name pull. Katy was offered the highest female salary EVER on AI, higher than even Mariah by millions.
You may despise Perry but you're so letting your distaste cloud your judgement lbr.
Definitely not MJ. I don't know if Whitney had another smash album apart from The Bodyguard but Britney's probably not as successful as her either.
They are both in the lower regions of the top 5 best selling Female acts WW But yes Whitney is more successful overall. But She is a Legend and was just so perfect
Godney and Godney tbh
Also how can you not know any other Godney (whitney) albums
I feel like Ariana has came so close to staying relevant but she hasn't "PUNCHED" hard enough yet. I need someone new like Tori Kelly or another upcoming pop girl to come and give us a one-two-three punch and actually stay relevant.

Britney too. Womanizer was her last smash hit if we exclude S&S and that in 2008. The younger people aren't really in touch with her and that's why she kind of turned into a nostalgia act. If she put herself out there like she did many many years ago, it'd be different.
Christina has been over for half a decade now. I mean, her last successful era was in 2006. There's no hope anymore.
Winfrey endorsed presidential candidate Barack Obama in the 2008 presidential election,[138][139][140] the first time she endorsed a political candidate running for office.[141] Winfrey held a fundraiser for Obama on September 8, 2007, at her Santa Barbara estate. In December 2007, Winfrey joined Obama for a series of rallies in the early primary states of Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina. The Columbia, South Carolina event on December 9, 2007, drew a crowd of nearly 30,000, the largest for any political event of 2007.[142] An analysis by two economists at the University of Maryland, College Park estimated that Winfrey's endorsement was responsible for between 420,000 and 1,600,000 votes for Obama in the Democratic primary alone, based on a sample of states that did not include Texas, Michigan, North Dakota, Kansas, or Alaska. The results suggest that in the sampled states, Winfrey's endorsement was responsible for the difference in the popular vote between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.[143] The governor of Illinois, Rod Blagojevich, reported being so impressed by Winfrey's endorsement that he considered offering Winfrey Obama's vacant senate seat describing Winfrey as "the most instrumental person in electing Barack Obama president", with "a voice larger than all 100 senators combined".[144] Winfrey responded by stating that although she was absolutely not interested, she did feel she could be a senator.[145]
K FINE Britney sucks and doesn't compare to Whitney and MJ
Nicki is kinda more respected in music than Katy. That wasn't a lie or deluded - check Metacritic.
