Like my excitement for this is really gone even after getting the new songs, it's just so long.

i really hope (and think) that this gets an 80+ on metacritic, lungs and ceremonials were both so close and both deserved to

i think this will be loved by critics though, most of the complaints about ceremonials was that it was too loud and this is not that so

As for the album, hmm, expect more than you can, its not the type of the album that you need to listen to more than 2 times to fall in love, the instruments are amazing, there are new kind of ballads, new power songs, new vocals, a lot of 60's influences. For me, HBHBHB has one of the best band's songs ever, QOP, if you are a HUGE ceremonial stan like me then Long & Lost is going to be your favorite one.

Why would that be shady? This is one of the biggest albums by a British act this year, and they are a British magazine.

Do you honestly believe they would go out of their way to announce 24 hours before a negative review of an album? that just seems stupid. I could be wrong, but I think that would be weird

I'm not joking when I say this could possibly become one of my favorite albums of all time. Never in my life have I been slayed so hard by an album, and it's not even released yet. Every single song we've heard so far is next level and at this point it is impossible to choose which one I like best.

I think NME would advertise that the first official review of a highly anticipated album was coming regardless of whether it was good or not.

I hope that its good, and I have a feeling that this album being more raw and 'honest' emotionally is something that seems to correct one of the main complaints against Florence over the years from reviewers so that the overall reviews might equal of surpass Lungs, which critics liked more than Ceremonials , but at the end one never knows.
