Shakira Ft. Rihanna - Can't Remember To Forget You had 17 million during its firs 24 hours as well.

Hope Taylor is humbled!

Some people are pressed here
14M is great, she did 9M with BS and it's on it's way to be the most viewed video by a female by the end of the year

That was the Vevo total; it also had somewhere around 15m on YT at the 24 hour mark.

Atrl: how many people are gonna be in this video i hope its not some 10 minute pretentious mess
Atrl: Wow the cameos were so disappointing whats the point in having so many of them if they all don't have their own distinctive characters and purpose towards the plot ?

I thought it stabilizes and updates at the 24 hour mark, give or take an hour, not 40+ hours after the premier.

Regardless, Wrecking Ball and Anaconda had no famous features. It was all Miley and Nicki, respectively. Bad Blood has Pop stars, R&B stars, TV stars, movie stars, rising super models and a TV/movie/modelling legend to boost its popularity. There are over 15 stanbases to contribute to the view count. If each of the celebrities had two million of their fans watch the video just for their fav, that's already 30M views. Mathematically, the numbers are a tad bit underwhelming. But it's still an exciting video, even though there was no legitimate plot and ended abruptly after .2 seconds of a fight scene.

Ya thought wrong, as clearly evidenced by past videos. We all know Wrecking Ball and Anaconda did so well because of shock factor and nudity rather than celebrity status. None of the girls in the video are remotely as big as Taylor, or even Miley or Nicki. Your faulty math assumes no intersection between fanbases and that all the celebs in the video actually have 2 million fans to begin with (they don't).
Nothing you're saying is holding any weight.

Miley took her clothes off and was hanging on a freakin wrecking ball !!!
Nicki twerked in 90% of the video + Drake was in it so it wasn't just Nicki !!
You really should stop trying

But how many of those followers are fans with faves? Historical evidence has shown that actual fans who would do that sort of thing are in the overwhelming minority - do you expect Taylor to get 70m because she has a shitload of Facebook "fans?" Na. Like 350 people bought 1989 in the first hour of release, as another example - fans are incredible scarce compared to the GP.
And again - you're still not addressing the intersection issue.
