This was surprisingly decent. A few jumps and scares here and there.(maybe because I wore headphones )

"Spring" was soooooooo good.
Lou Taylor Pucci. Yum.
Not really horror but beautifully filmed and well-written.

"From the Dark" was okay.
A mix between "In Fear" + "Animal."

The It Follows soundtrack reminded me a lot of Halloween's, actually... maybe not so much because they sound similar, but because they both make an immediate and lasting impression. They're both memorable and very creepy

Under the Skin (although it's barely horror) has an amazing score as well

Mkay. Just finished It Follows... There's some explaining y'all need to do

It wasn't bad but definitely overhyped. I'm confused on the ending. Do they just stop seeing the spirits that follow them? Is so, why? Because they like each other? And it'd be nice to even know how the whole thing started. Like, why does a spirit just follow you all of a sudden after hooking up with someone ? And when she passed it on the the first guy how come he didn't see it until he saw his mother???? Do you only see someone if they are important to you?

The movie wasn't completely horrible tho. I did enjoy it.

I think the reason for why the first guy didn't see "It" until his mother killed him is that he slept around with other girls after Jay passed it to him. So he didn't see any spirits because "It" was following the other girls he slept with first before getting to him.

Immediately after his and Jay's sex scene they cut to him at a table flirting with other girls. There were other hints like that throughout the movie that he was a bit of a player

Also, in the very last shot you can see "It" follow behind Jay and that other guy, so they didn't defeat it

Following up on your last point, the point of the ending was that no one knows if it was actually "it". It could've been a random person walking behind them, or it could've been "it". The ending was to show the paranoia that Jay and Paul will have to live with for the rest of their lives, not knowing if someone behind them wants to murder them or if they're just another person.

Anyway, I just watched The Lazarus Effect, it is good but they coulda done more with the plot and the ending.

I don't think you can actually defeat "it" because if that was the case Hugh/Jeff wouldn't keep seeing it since he passed it to Jay. And the first guy Jay gave it to wouldn't have seen his mother because he was an obvious player. Jay kept seeing it and she passed it on to Paul and the first guy also.

So what's the truth?

I think the way that it works is that when you get it, you will always SEE it, but that doesn't mean it's targeting you. That's why both Jay and Hugh could still see it even when it was given to someone else. It's targeting who "contracted" it last. Greg did pass it onto a girl after Jay gave it to him, but it probably killed her quite quickly because he didn't warn her about it. So once it got her, it came back for Greg. Hugh said in the beginning that it will disguise itself as people you know to get closer to you, so it's not surprising it disguised itself as his mom. Greg would be more likely to let his mom in his room than some random person.
