Now sis, let's not pretend Rihanna put this much thought into her outfit.
She said herself that she just found the coat on the Internet and wanted to use it. Her team probably then contacted the designer/designer's people and she/they agreed to let Rihanna use it.

Yeah, being meme'd isn't a sign of being a joke, it's a sign of impact, actually. We now live in a world where being meme'd is actually kind of an honor lol (as long as it's not overshadowing you a la Left Shark).
