gurlT, I'm not Navy I'm just a realist. The stans that can't drag R8 that I mentioned, their faves albums all flopped(I'm a Gaga stan but I'm calling out the other monsters) or underperformed so they have no room to talk or they are complete hypocrites. I'm just spilling the tea gorl but disagree as you feel

Katy's lyricism HARDLY extends beyond relatable radio sludge and over-cliché'd one-liners.

Taylor is just as guilty sometimes - but at other times has crafted amazing lyricism

That actually looks like it'll be Taylor's first good video, though. Joseph is awesome and I love plots/alter-egos in a music video. Anyways, Taylor's weak spot when it comes to going down as a legend is that her performances aren't that good... seems like she just walks around ~fiercely!~ a lot.

Her ear candy Swedish produced-pop efforts are on par with any of the rest of them though.

You can't/shouldn't drag it because the music slays. I mean Artpop was great but people still dragged (even the ones that I mentioned) and they looked like hypocrites. These stans think they know their stuff but they are dragging legitimately good music. R8 so far is a pleasant departure from her other music and people will drag but those same ppl that drag will go and listen to Fifth Harmony/Pretty Girls/Tayho Swift and they just look stupid. I get why ppl drag ARTPOP because it was really EDM and I mean normal/basic pop stans don't listen to anything other than their own genre so I mean what can you really expect? The same thing is with R8 and it's folky/hip-hop/unique genres that Rih is doing. So all in all, they shouldn't drag it because their faves' albums flopped and they just look stupid and also, they shouldn't drag because they are basic and will listen to Pretty Girls/Shake It Off rather than good, authentic music. Case closed

Like, DWUW is still a great song. Applause and Venus are still decent bops. It's an album that will have at least a song or two MINIMUM to click w/anyone who has ever been Gaga fan.
