When you spend hours worried that you couldn't find enough inspiration to write a really stellar song and you think you might get eliminated but you really, really, really, REALLY don't want to because writing songs is your entire life and you wanna prove a point to yourself so you're about to result in offering the judges sexual favors and then you realize you have immunity this round....
Also I like my song again now. I just sung it to the tune of Marina's "Forget" and I was slayed. I hope the judges read it with a good rhythm otherwise it'll probably sound floppy. Not here for that. My Teenage Dream era can't wait.

I don't know when to bring this up, so I might as well do it now (and then I'll have to repeat it a bunch once it gets buried).
Message to the contestants:
I never read song explanations/inspirations that are sent with your lyrics. I think songs should be read WITHOUT the influence of the story behind the song, how personal it is, etc. etc. The message/meaning should come through in the lyrics, not in a paragraph of text that accompanies it. Some past seasons have forbidden contestants from sending explanations, but I believe you're allowed to this season (right TT?) so I just want to note this now so that if I write a critique that says something like, "I don't even understand what's happening in the bridge" you don't say, "But it was in my explanation!" OK, that's it!
