Which is part of the reason why a lot of my entry focused on personal connections, rather than facade admiration. There really wasn't any journey of self discovery going on here, mainly because it only lasted two days, so there wasn't anything to talk about in terms of "seeing the light"

I saw this challenge more as a test of how eclectic our taste can be, and if we are were able to admit our appreciation for artists we might not otherwise acknowledge. It kind of is like the companion challenge to "Favourite Song" - except this time without personal bias.

I guess everyone's approach was tailored to their artist.
I've only heard one or two Marina songs before this challenge so it was a bit different.

Yeah, if I had gotten an artist like, say, Rome Fortune, my approach would have been a bit different, since I would have had to do some research on his work to find my favourite video and whatnot. With Rihanna, I already knew my answer to all three of the questions without having to think about it at all.

I find it hilarious how an artist could go almost two decades without acquiring the skills needed to construct a three minute song.

The funniest thing is when an artist can't get a hit not even when she tries her hardest, lowering her standards and, despite everything she stated about the pop music industry, runs to one of the biggest producers around and sings generic tunes masked as something with a ~deep~ double meaning.
