1. Scattered stars is supposed to represent death and how vast the universe is despite these two people still finding each other, displaying how close they've become.
2. The alien line makes more sense when combined with the line after it. It's supposed to portray a level of understanding between these two people that's higher than anyone else's.
3. Against all odds my eyes are dry (aka: I don't cry anymore) and I realise it's because of your love.
Pretty straightforward imo. I also feel like lyrics shouldn't be so PLAIN obvious.
But thanks anyways.
The alien line is supposed to be there to show that no one understands the love these two people have for each other as if they speak in a different language from the rest, what's so hard to understand?

I re-read it and now I realize where the chorus actually ends so it makes more sense to me now. Its good! Nice use of religious imagery.
