I think she's an icon for sure.
I would say I see her becoming a legend but I'm quite honestly tired of throwing the word "legend" around, as it carries far too much weight.
What is her impact/importance? Or, what did she do/change and what did that cause?

She really has no classics. She has plenty of songs that are definitely memorable for their time period, but none that actually stood the test of time.
She has several iconic/noteworthy performances. 2009 VMAs. Oscars Sound of Music tribute. No iconic videos though - MAYBE "Poker Face" or "Bad Romance", but not really.
I can't say she's lasting though. She just debuted in 2008. It's only been 7 years and she fading OD OD. :////

Her next album will be make or break for her career, honestly. And I don't mean that in a since where it'll be over, just that she won't be as big as she use to be.
