EXO Tao's father announced on weibo: Tao did not receive support from the company. but all he had was a body of injury. this is the third exo member announcing his departure from exo after kris and luhan in 2014.
i feel complex knowing that by writing this message, i will hurt alot of people, including my son zitao. although i have thought through for him, maybe he will still be unable to understand why or even resent me for my selfishness. all along i know he loves his team and is determined in his work so the decision whether to let him leave korea was a painful deliberation for many days. However as a father, i must and have the responsibility to see him grow well and healthily; i cannot bear to see him injured. between letting him stay in korea to continue his career or being safe and healthy, i will undoubtedly choose the latter.
in my eyes, strength, tenacity, persistence and resilience are the characteristics a man must have. that's why we sent him to learn martial arts, taught him to endure hardship since young and shape him to have work hard, allowing him to earn his own money to learn music and dance was also to make him a self-reliant worker. since being a singer is his dream and choice, he'd have to work hard for his dream, and take responsibility for his decision.
huangzitao has never let us down. the things he did were always the pride of our family.but what frustrated me was - huangzitao accumulated both small and big injuries on his body within 3 years after his debut. back injury, body injury and leg injuries were countless, to the point when every time he has a performance, no matter if i was at the actual place or at home, i would feel my heart jumping out when he performs a flip, afraid that it'll add to his old injury. When it's an overseas stage in particular, there are times when the stages are slippery, or when it rains at times, i will persuade him not to do flips for his safety. but he'd always tell me he doesn't want to let everyone down, and console me that he'll be careful. however, it always end up with me heartbreakingly knowing he's injured thru weibo,not being able to take care of him all the time, not being able to contact or even be present on site, this pain is indescribable; the feeling of being heart wrenched while waiting by the mobile is one that no one else will understand.
in others' eyes, i should be blissful with a harmonious family and a son who's a star, but how'd they understand the pain of tossing and turning in worry for countless nights? this time, i was determined to bring him home to nurse his injury. the night i went to korea, the company leaders discuss tao's future progress with me, saying they would create a specialised team to handle his china activities like they've promised initially. of course, i was so excited and happily discussed many details with them. the company said they would wait for tao to sign the contract and then announce it tgt with other members' news. in the end, when just a step away from signing the contract, i was still in korea when i saw the company announcing news of the plans for other members first.... there was so much i wanted to say but i became speechless.
zitao did not receive support from the company, but received a body of injury. then what does this make of our persistence in the beginning? thru all this turmoil, i decided to bring zitao home to nurse his injury, only to find out that it's passed the optimum rehabilitation period. these injuries will cause him great disability when they are not treated properly. this is as though trampling the last bit of grass for a camel, which also made me firm up to bring him home. to his parents, there's nothing more important than the health of their children. as compared to flowers, applause, and fame, the utmost priority is his health and safety.
lastly, i want to express my apologies and gratitude to the company and members of EXO. thankful to the company for nurturing him these 3 years and to him members for showing him concern and care. i also want to apologise to all those who love tao and EXO. i know my decision will hurt you deeply. but i hope all of you understand the decision of a helpless father. sorry!

and Jooyeon had 2 graduate ceremonies.... .. i' m pretty sure SM wont be kind enough to hold ceremonies for Tao ....
The next one to go will be Sehunfi. Probably won't be in the immediate future but it'll be before this time next year.
