Both contestants will be successful. How difficult is it for both sides to concede that point?
It's not my theory. It's Kworb's.
As for both being successful, I can't see either of them getting the same success Cook got, and it already isn't something "OMG, amazing" for starters. But hey, that's just me.
This season has three winners, really. Kris, who got the most votes. Adam, whose supreme and unique talent has been recognized worldwide. And Allison, who had by far the best performance on finale night, and who will also get a major label deal for sure.
I feel kinda sad, I guess I wanted Adam to win after all. His subpar performances the last two weeks should not taint the reality of his divine ability.
No one who is hated wins American Idol. It is actually impossible considering the fans are voting. I get your point though which is why I say both will be successful.
There are some really dedicated Adam fans (see Kworb-or at least before this week anyway) that will buy any album he puts out. There are some people who love the fact that he screams on every song. He also has a good voice when he doesn't scream believe it or not.
Only time will tell who is more successful but I think they will achieve similar success in each of their respective genres of music. Pop-wise, I would expect Kris to be more of a hit- maker but it wouldn't surprise me if Adam did as well. We shall see. All our predictions are useless now.
Conservative Fox and America just didn't want a former drag queen to win.
I don't blame Fox. The producers of the show pimped him to win. I cannot blame Fox on this one. Fox is wrong on many things but this isn't one of them. America definitely can take some (if not all) the blame though. Like I said, it is not the worst thing if he doesn't win. It might get him away from American Idol's record label which might actually help him make a less bland and boring record.

I guess someone still doesnt feel shameful. being a psycho Adam stan then praying for Kris to win. what a betrayor.

Adam can go down the weird route, and :/ he'l not have a hit. He needs to be mainstream!
