The difference is, I didn't bump BB10 trying to promote, it was bumped by a member returning from a ban.
And that 1 post, was the only bump since it ended.

Umm...let me clarify one thing

Nonne BUMPED the thread for promotion. It was on the first page when the promo began. It's not mine (or GS's fault) that the game got 10 pages of comments since the promo was reposted there (cause it was in the songwriter's thread initially)

And I never bumped my thread just like Truth Teller and I already said. And no one has ever mentioned this rule until now and if someone is going to make it a real rule they should probably post it somewhere. And why wait until now? I would've been fine with a close and an explanation weeks ago but an HOUR before I was going to close it myself? That's just tacky. The mods literally had 3 months

Big Brother 10 was bumped this month after two months because of jax reflecting. There was no promoting for a new season whatsoever, but let me close it now.

Create A Label 6, I could've sworn I closed it because people were trying to promote a next season. Even Giselle PMed me asking if she could have it opened to promote a new season and I said no because this thread was made. Let me find the receipts in my PM, but it is now closed.

ATRL Lost was getting bumped for kiis for it not even starting and the sign up lists just kept growing. It was not bumped to keep promoting a new season. It is now closed.

Like you want to bitch and complain, but damn PM me if a thread should be closed after being done. The Games section needs to be re-worked, we get that, I get that since I'm truly like the only Game mod here. If it were up to me I'd have a game be closed a month after inactivity instead of this 90 day or whatever it is.

Now wait wait wait, I thought ANTM was nothing special? Why are you keeping up on it? Plus it hasn't even had a post in 3 months and it's not promoting anything, but let me close it as well.

Matty is practically the only mod who is frequently active in Games, he can't be on top of everything.

Like I said, the rules haven't been updated since 2010 and this thread was being used as a discussion on what to update them with. Since this thread exists now, that's why it's become a rule.

You seem to think it's a vendetta against you, but it's really not.

And I haven't followed the thread but I just glanced in it now and saw y'all posting sign-ups for the next season, that's not something which belongs in an old thread, should be in a new one.

Well now that were talking about closed threads, I figured since I cannot do consistent updates this weekend and will need to be actively hosting the next challenge & the members have their respective team blog, I saw no need for keeping the thread open...unless I'm abusing the closing thread power

the sign ups were a joke. the promo was just posted there because as I said we have a weird demographic and no one checks this thread from the ATRL songwriters. I don't think there's any vendetta but there definitely is the fact that this rule is suddenly being made up only for my game
