Right now for me it just doesn't FEEL like an album is coming in two weeks... I really do believe they should delay it tbh.. They have clearly felt inspired by I Bet's success... But tbh, the single is far from dead, the album should of been released end of May and they really should of given I Bet the push it deserves - more performances, some more radio appearances, built hype for the second single (assuming it was an absolute smash) and released it alongside the video with the album a week later...

Right now i don't think the general public even realise an album is coming in two weeks, and from a business POV she needs to sell more than CIARA.

Nevertheless i'm overly excited for the album even tho i still don't like the inclusion of One Woman Army, The Intro and Only One (if its the same as OWA) - im excited we get to hear them, just not this way.. I even hated it when my fav Mariah done the same on Elusive Chanteuse.. Its CHEAP. Just release a two - three track EP as a surprise leading up to the albums release. Putting them on an album 3 years later for me is no no..

I wonder if they'll be a target exclusive? She normally has them.

The only thing that concerns me is the date. Even two more weeks after can make such a huge difference, but it's all set in stone.

The release date is perfect. There's still weeks of promo opportunities left. They still have time to promote I Bet. It's clear that they're starting to do more promo for the album so as long as they keep it up, that should be good. She definitely needs to do high profile promo slots though, like SNL, Tonight Show, etc. That would really help.

OWA being three years old doesn't really matter to me. We've all wanted to hear it since the first leak and you never know what songs on an album were recorded for a different one. If it's a good song, it's a good song.

Are you sure these were The Evolution? The first two were done by Jasper Cameron (not 100% sure about Up & Down tbh), and the latter was done with Polow.

HOWEVER, I'm sure Yearbook is a Fantasy Ride track. Reason being, that, Echo, Lover's Thing and Keep Dancin' on Me leaked around the same time with "For clearance use only" tags on it. So it would make sense if they're from the same batch of recorded tracks.

Oh, so during the Ciara era, when the whole album leaked (bar Sophomore, remember that mess? ) I bought The Evolution & Basic Insticnt and I remember my pop bussy was so thoroughly slayed by I Proceed & Turn It Up and then Overdose came along and snatched my weave right up.

So, this era I went and purchased Goodies & Fantasy Ride from iTunes, completing my Ci collection and I also pre ordered the deluxe Jackie.

And I also copped Got Me Good & Sorry, which I had last era but illegally so I bought them this time and they are currently slaying me

I've listened to Goodies, The Evolution & Fantasy Ride today whilst doing housework and am about to listen to Basic Instict again, haven't done so for a year or so.

My ranking of the albums:
Ciara > The Evolution > Basic Instinct> Goodies > Fantasy Ride

I think I'll love Jackie & Ciara the same tbh.

Oh, and add me to the C-Squad and give me a Ci avi! I'm officially a stan.
