If it's Your Girl, I don't love it. She should have lowered the key a biT. I still like it though, messy vocal arrangement aside. There isn't really a Mariah song that I hate. Even Hero and Without You are tolerable because it's her, I just gave them a 0 to make sure they flop.

Yup why not....Her new music has always appealed to me more than her older stuff, it's just taste..

Emancipation is such an empty album, you can tell it was made solely for her commercial comeback (and it worked). It has a bunch of good songs, but as a whole it lacks... something.

Emancipation isn't supposed to be a deep or personal album. "It's Like That" sums up the goal pretty well actually.
