I Love Money 3 | Challenge #1 Entries

Team Green
 Green Team ExplanationTeam Green have put together a series of ideas to best showcase our concept, which is: "money". We believe that this was the best direction to take since wealth is typically associated with power and how they both can corrupt us. Hence why ReachOut and JustLuke worked on the member title - Poisoned Money ☢ - which plays on the thought that power isn't necessarily a good thing while money fuels that metaphorical "poison". It could also be used to describe us; we are money that has been poisoned, displaying the extent of how powerful we are.
The avis were done by dwuw although all of us put forward various ideas. The reason why we chose to include our favourite musicians on a dollar bill is because of how powerful and how much of an impact they can have on pop culture and society, in general. They're known for being rich which ties in with our initial concept of "money". Even Alexandra Burke in her Broken Heels!  Remmy made the banner while GotSkill offered his much-needed input. It is quite straightforward so the message can be conveyed quite clearly. The banner moves in order to represent how money and power isn't something concrete, or "forever". Both can disappear in the flick of a switch which portrays how valuable both are, strengthening the power/impact of Team Green as a whole.
Our slogan is: "Success leaves us green, not envy" which was created by jax. It's supposed to show a sense of superiority. Envy is typically associated with being unsatisfied with what we have now. This is not the case with Team Green. We can't beat what has already been beaten. Hello there, Team Gold!

Team Gold
Gold Team Explanation
Money makes the world go round. It is an indisputable fact. Money brings influence, power, and glory. The most timeless currency has always been gold: the color of wealth, opulence, but most importantly, endurance. Gold is the element of legend, inspiring men to achieve greatness, to fight for what they believe in, and to explore the world.
The gold team represents the element well, made up of enduring strength and some of the strongest competitors on this site. Each member brings something to the table and provides some valuable input. This can be seen in our beautifully designed team banner designed by Era. The banner, done in gold leaf, shining, crisp, and eye-catching, highlights the members of our team and lets their colors shine. Phrasing like "Tears of the sun" references the Incan belief that the sun god cried tears of gold, so clean was his heart.
Another golden one, Element designed all of our team's avatars. While each of us loves seeing our fave reach platinum, ours are all encased in golden splendor in a show of solidarity. Each of us is a unique member bringing high level skills to this competition, but we are, undoubtedly, a team.
Finally, our team slogan reflects the enduring and pure qualities of gold “We got that 24 karat touch.” It references pure gold, as gold is measured in terms of karats, but it also fits with our user title: "Touched by Midas". As our team was graced by King Midas' golden fingers (triple entendre, actually), we are now a part of that golden collection. Beautiful, refined, and timeless.
Currency depreciates all the time, moving back and forth in an ebb and flow to rival the tides. However, when the seas have dried up and the sun is beating down upon a lifeless earth, those tears of the sun will still remain, glittering with a cruel glamour. Just like that gold, our team will outdo, outperform, and outlast everything thrown our way.
