I recommend all horror fans to watch Sinister. That movie is really, really creepy. The score alone makes my skin crawl. That long haired bad guy is so freaky as well. The scene with Ethan Hawke looking away from his laptop with the image of that long haired guy on screen is so scary, its a small moment but so effective.
Sinister is amazing .One of the best recent movies.

The original is a bit boring if you are used to modern horror(like most old movies )
The remake is truly disgusting though, rape scenes are like the only thing that really get me feeling disgusting
[QUOTE=ChapelHooker;27319043]Ok first of all the performance by Essie Davis is amazing, she did such a good job at potraying a grieving wife and mother who has a problem with her child.

Yeah, I loved ISOYG too.
So amazing how they can make you hate a character you felt compassion for in the beginning of the movie.
I was always rooting for the girl tbh. I was glad when
she killed them all
The sequel is ok too but not as good.
Does somebody know where can I watch these movies?
There are lots of movies posted here I don't know where to watch. Same with lots of trailers I saw of movies that are never coming out in my country and also 'indie' movies.
I watched Starry Eyes like a few months ago, it was nice IMO. The second half of it was amazing.
I forced H-I-M to watch it and he dragged me saying it was horrible

I loved that it showed that kids can be assholes, and that parents can hate them in a way. It was DEFINITELY well written. It's minimalistic with it's choice of words but says so much about loss and recovery.
The directing is amazing as well, the shots are very classic and timeless, and the coloring is amazing as well.
And it's one of the scariest movies of the past 5 years. You probably love jump scares and cheap thrills, but this is a genuinely scary movie because it deals with ourselves and we are faced with it. The things the Babadook represents and how they played with it are so well done and the design of the book is insane.
You will noT shade this horror masterpiece on my watch. You probably think The Strangers is better than You're Next as well.
Gorl bai.. Whilst I agree with the majority of what you said... you will NAWT come for the classic that is The Strangers.. The Strangers is flaw free amazing film thats miles better than You're Next.. You're Next is a good film don't get me wrong.. its just The Strangers is on the next level
Y'all better keep it all the way cute with The Woman In Black 2.. it was MILES better than the overrated boring first one lbr
Also this looks kinda interesting.. comes out in a week or two I think
This actually looks good, I'm excited. I love country farmhouses for horror (Haute Tension, Texas Chainsaw, ect). Fingers crossed this is close to me when it comes out on the 14th.
Yass bitch, it will slay your life, love how its perfectly paced, and the gore is fitting, and the second half is my favorite, like its a MUST WATCH OF ALL TIME Indie Horror flick
It's so scary and so realistic. It's unlike any horror movie we've ever seen. It could actually find an audience - the main hurdle are the very heavy and almost impossible to understand accents. Even though it's in English, they should still subtitle it.

Alex Essoe slays her part and deserves awards
Y'ALL SLEEP ON IT
The rebirth scene >>>>>
The second half of it was really good.
