It's long as ****, and I almost didn't read it myself (and you know I'm the king of long posts), but it's a real eye opener to just how cut throat and difficult the music industry really is... even once you think you've made it, you really haven't.
She even has a relationship with an older producer that sounds very reminiscent of Kesha in 7 AM / the Dr. Luke rape situation, and she later wrote a song about him (This Little Girl).
At least Kesha had a supportive mother. Cady's mother and older siblings all laughed at her musical aspirations and told her she had a terrible voice. She's had it so tough.
Really. It'll probably take 10-15 minutes of your life but yeah. It's kinda sad.
She's just gonna end up like Becky G tbh. Who still doesn't have an album despite having a HIT single with Shower, and a low-key hit in Can't Stop Dancing, and many other songs that could be ready for hits. She could be an album seller if she'd already had her album out for all Luke knows.
