Anyway, most trans people know by that age, or even earlier. Of course they don't know of the actual term 'transgender' and the process of physically changing their sex, but they do know that they would like to be the other gender. And most trans people wish they could've started identifying at that age.

I'm not saying Shiloh is trans, but she very well could be.

No, because there's so much tomboys who simply want to be like their brothers and just grow out of it and it's always been like that. To automatically make her think she's a boy at age of 8 is too confusing for a little girl like her. But of course celebs are smarter than psychologists.

He's not exactly getting surgery. He's just wearing different clothes and using a different name. He's happy like this for now, and later when he has a clearer grasp of his identity he can decide how to progress. But for now there's nothing wrong with treating him the way he wants to be treated.

It's not too early to tell. It's too early to make any big decisions - sure, but if John has asked to be called a boy and has been rejecting female clothing? Two huge signs. Too many times are trans kids reduced to "going through phases". And even if John hasn't asked people to call them him/he, pronouns are often one of the last things trans people ask to be changed.
