Look at HOW MANY TIMES Jay and Kanye have sold multi platinum albums. Having ONE album sell AMAZINGLY does not make u powerful it makes you HOT.
And its hard to continue THAT consistency. Which is why consistency of 2 - 4 million [per album is more power than one album at 10 million and the next at 2 and the next three barely at 1.

I really don't get why they even care that much, especially Beyonce and Jay Z who are combined worth 1 Billion.
I can understand lesser known artists but that video with all those multimillionaires acting as if they don't already have enough money was one of the most cringeworthy things I've ever seen. I'm not interested in helping the rich get richer.
these days you almost have to pay $1 to go pee. music is not even something you need, it's a luxury. most of you clearly weren't buying music in the 90s
