If you mean the MC score, the critics all got caught up on the hype. It made less year-end lists than 1989. Not surprised though since it was already forgotten after 2 months it came out.

mhm probably, 70% of Taylor's current stans are just bandwagoners from others whose faves aren't slaying the charts atm. I was there for a good month or two, guilty as charged. That's all Taylor's really good for, though. Being a filler artist until the REAL fave releases new music.

Because nobody said 1989 was a rock album. 21 is many genres and one of them is POP. Therefore it's the best selling POP release of the decade, not 1989. Not difficult.
