Yeah, but your votes hold more weight the more you're active on the Global site. You can earn points by watching the feeds, and then when you cast a vote at some point in the game, your vote will count as like, 50 rather than just 1. But if you can't get it to work properly with a free VPN, then hopefully someone will have an alternate link.
