It's so good to see radio organically supporting this, unlike with Living for Love. I really hope pop radio picks it up too. I hope no one takes this as shade (because it's not meant as such), but a nice sized hit is just what she needs to ensure maintained sales of the album. Hopefully she has some good promo spots lined up for this.

Oh no, I expect more than that! I hope she goes all out - MTV Movie Awards, iHeartRadio Music Awards, BBMA's, Dancing with the Stars, The Voice, American Idol, etc. C'mon Madonna, make this a hit. Make people wanna buy your material. The mini Ellen residency was a good start, but that doesn't get that many viewers. The aforementioned shows/events (well, other than the first two) have pretty good viewership (especially Dancing with the Stars, surprisingly). And she needs to release the music video at a good time (and on a Monday) to take full advantage of first week streams.

I think Madonna is finally realizing that she is not above doing performances on television.. For many years that was one of my only complaints.. she always acted or seemed like she was too good for television promo on late night, primetime, morning television in the US.. but that's definitely changing..

I think she just hates TV, especially live TV because she's not in control of everything & she's always had a problem with non-fans at her shows. I think it's T&D (maybe IGTTYAS) that she demands there be no celebrities or quiet people in the front rows.

I was wondering the same, that she's above and all that stuff but what you say makes sense as well. It's kinda honest from her side, not wanting to do these things and when she does, it's pretty obvious that she doesn't like it. Last time she promoted something heavily through interviews was about the movie she done along with MDNA.
