3) Taylor Swift – 1989 – 43,991 (After 19 weeks – 4,504,352)
the slayage. already outsold speak now
Thats like 200K away from being the second best selling album of the decade
By the way, i just realized something that gave me a lot of hope for this tour:
Fearless Tour - visits 6 countries
Speak Now World Tour - visits 18 countries
Red Tour - visits 12 countries
1989 World Tour - set to visit 9 countries (so far)
The fact that her tour that visited the most countries has the "World" tag in it while her other two did not, makes me believe that this tour will really have a lot of surprises in terms of countries she will be visiting. I just found a glimpse of hope in there

1989 is doing all I wanted Red to do Something finally outsold Speak Now. I wanted it to catch her first album and even Fearless just to show Taylor can outsell a 2008 album in these times.
Guys, I wrote this article for Hypable about Speak Now and why it matters. Feel free to check it out.
You make some really great points here! That said, I think you should've mentioned that She wrote the album alone. It's a really rare feat—especially for a 19 year old superstar.
