@Pandora I respect your taste. Welcome to the base by the way, I don't think you were here when I was banned. Your avi slays
All of this. And I admit to it myself, when ARTPOP came out (sorry, this will get deep) I was so insecure in myself, I wanted everyone to like me, I was in love with someone who could never feel the same and many members of my family had fallen seriously ill - I had become dependent on Gaga and others opinions on her to validate my self-worth. So when everything Gaga-related came crashing down, I started lashing out on her and rejecting anything and everything ARTPOP (sans DWUW and new material like Act II).
Now I feel a lot better in myself, and while the problems before are still there, I'm a lot more confident and strong in dealing with them. I don't associate ARTPOP with any of those things anymore, nor do I associate it with the messy campaign.
It truly is Gaga in an album. I said that about Born This Way, and while it's true, it seems to me like BTW was for the fans and ARTPOP was for Gaga's benefit - and it's true. It's a beautiful piece of work and I hope someday everyone in here truly sees the beauty in it.
LG5 will top everything though, quality-wise. I'm sure of it.
I'm so sorry all that happened to you, but I'm glad you're feeling better.
Y'know Aura's perfect performance woulda been like...
She should've had the beginning with the guitar riffs and **** be an old man at the end of stage on an electric guitar just to make it cute, funny, and artsy. Then when "HA HA HA HA" comes in her face is appearing on and off on a screen, and she comes out. The similar part is she came out dressed in a burqa or like a nun (which she sorta did with VMA '13 @ the beginning). Then towards the end when she's screaming "do you wanna peak underneath the covers, and see the girl who lives behind the aura" she's undressing on stage and she's wearing a esque (BTW like, maybe TEOG video) outfit and does a whole dance choreo. Then at the end where it has the breakdown and is like "ARTPOP" her album cover flashes on the huge screen behind her saying, "ARTPOP -- IN STORES".
