First off, "transgendered" is a slur. These people are not "transgendered", they're transgender.

It is a myth. The men who do that are not trans women, they're perverts. Being afraid of every trans person in the bathroom because of a few perverted men is ridiculous on all accounts.

The lady was made aware that the woman was a woman and she still had a problem. Simple.

But did I say transgendered (I see this word all the time in professional news reports regarding this subject and now it's a slur? Welp, don't care.) were perverts? No, but straight men can pretend to be one to catch a sneak peak. And you must take into consideration of the fact that there are women out there who have been assaulted by men and they have every right to fear being around them. It does not make them bigoted.

There is a huge difference between a trans woman and a man in a wig. You trying to equate the two is transphobic, and so is your continued use of "transgendered". Like I said, most trans women go to extreme lengths to "pass" as what most considered to be a women, meaning that you will be able to tell the difference between a trans woman and a man in a wig who's trying to sneak a peek.

Of course women have the right to be scared of men, but trans women aren't men so that argument falls flat.

Also at the very least, your grammar is off when you say transgendered. Transgender is a NOUN, never a verb. You never just happen to become transgender. It's the same as saying "He is homosexualed"

Yeah, part of their business model is being progressive and open-minded so that's probably why they reported it. I think it's a good thing to let trans people know they're welcome in their gym and they will be taken care of. Gyms are scary enough as it is.

A man wearing a wig and a transgendered women are two different things, but my point is that is that one can play of as the others and that's when trouble comes in. I have no problem with planet fitness trying to accommodate to the needs of the trans community but that have to insure that there isn't confusion in the process and that should've informed members first.
