Tom Hanks was just a waste of space in the video and didn't do anything even remotely funny or interesting.
He just looked old, desperate, and like he smelled of Icy Hot. Oh, well. It's still a good song, though.
Yes! Like if it started w/ Tom and then people started joining in as he walked down the street until he got to Carly and Justin at the end. That would've been really cute. It's not a brand new concept or anything but that would've been better than this
I could totally see people flashmobbing to this song, if only the video had focused more on that
I guess it was too much to hope for a great video to match a great song. Nothing against Tom Hanks but there should have been way more going on and a lot more of Carly. Are people really getting paid to come up with concepts like this? At the very least they could have filmed all three of them on their separate journeys to the shoot.
Oh well, it could have been a lot worse as well I suppose. And the song still slays so hopefully it'll find the success it deserves. And maybe she can snatch Avril for the next vid.
I still hope the song becomes somewhat of a hit. If it bombs, what do they do with her?
