The SMROOKIES group definitely looks good, but how uninventive can SM be having a 6 member group who are all body-lock dancers. Literally a baby EXO-K.

Like they're cute but with the base choreo not being very good anyway, it's just a repetition of EXO where they somehow still manage to get the girls wet despite being mediocre dancers.
That was for real impressive though. I wouldn't be opposed to that lineup debuting as a group but like...what would be the point? I just don't get it. SM has EXO already, and SRB14 are just...more...EXO. Are they gonna try an EXO-J maybe? Cause that would actually not be terrible.
If they're their own group though, it's a little redundant. It's like having A Pink and Lovelyz under one label, or BAP and BTS, or whatever. This is assuming that the image they're sticking with is the one in that video.

There's no point in SM debuting a group specifically for the Japanese market though. SNSD, Tohoshinki and SHINee are all doing really well in Japan, and EXO's Japanese debut will be huge too. They need to work on the Korean audience. I wouldn't be surprised if SM's revenue in Japan was better than their Korean revenue last year.

Was never confirmed. Plus, with MBK & JYP doing it, I'm guessing YG will want to do something different with them. I'd much prefer he just did a show for them leading up to their debut showing them recording, rehearsing, shooting etc. but YG will probably do something stupid.

Mmm...I don't really see any similarities between EXO and SuJu except that they're both large male groups. At least, not currently. EXO at debut could be compared with super-serious-Don't-Don SuJu but that's about it.

It'd be nice for them to try something new strategically though, since they've done that twice. TVXQ -> SHINee and Super Junior -> EXO. I know all four groups have been successful for them, but it'd be cool to see them have like a four or three member group that did a different type of music. Compared to a six member group with hip-hop/r&b influenced pop music.
