Avengers is, imo, no different than any of the Transformers films. Its a consumerist bastardised adaptation of a much-loved series.
It sucks. Plain and simple. In fact, if we REALLY want to throw the blame about, then it is solely Chris Nolan's (?) for rebooting the whole superhero franchise
