Katy Perry's SB performance proved nothing positive, it proved that she can get easily over-shadowed by the likes of Missy Elliot and a shark. She got drowned out by everyone and everything else and yes, there were some parts that I liked (the roar and dark horse parts).

Gaga proved so many people wrong that she can sing, clean up well and is musically-talented outside of writing pop songs, performing and entertaining. She proved herself to be versatile with jazz as well as musical theater.

Yeah, they definitely don't know what innovative means. Ironically, it was Gaga's performance people were calling a "reinvention" and "innovative" because she brought something new to the world that it had never seen coming from Lady Gaga. Katy just performed like she always performs.

With the Google Trends updating, Gaga's Oscar performance had nearly as many people searching for her as Katy's SB performance did despite having a fraction of the viewers. That says it all, really.

I honestly forgot about Katy's performance. And not because I'm a Gaga fan but Katy didn't do anything special.

1. It was Superbowl
2. Katy was never really searched for before, just check her Google stats

Lady Gaga had more articles posted about her performance, despite having only 1/5 of the viewers at most.

So Katy got 118.5M viewers and 2M searches

Gaga got 30M viewers and 1M searches

I mean It's pretty clear, isn't it ?

Katy had a halftime show for herself ONLY.

Gaga competed with other performers and actors and stole the Oscars.....
