Hey everybody! I'm doing a school project on production of pop music and I'm looking for a certain interview where P!nk talks about not being allowed to choose ballads as lead singles. Does anybody know what interview I'm talking about and where I could find it? I think it was fairly recent (possibly 2013 or 2014?)

Carly Rae Jepsen will release her new single in March(preview already available) and I rememeber that her last album was released in the same week as TTAL. Oh, Beth, everyone is releasing except you. Not to mention that artists who released their albums after Beth have already released new material.

Yeah but I would rather wait another year than having a 1989.

Litening to that or Piece By Piece made me realize that even her album is incredibly diverse - even TTAL. I think that's why she can move millions albums again and again, you can't get bored listening to it.

True. I like only 2-3 songs on PBP and 1989. Very monotonous albums where nothing stands out.
