She had a talk show and radio deal, both of which she ended up losing on poor terms.

I don't understand the whole campaigning thing.

People disliked when Mo'Nique didn't campaign AT ALL, but everyone HATED when Anne Hathaway did it so blatantly and forcefully.

If the work is truly good, no one should have to campaign. I agree with Mo'Nique on that front.

Truth be told, the Oscars are no more or less political than the Grammys. The only difference is an Academy Award still has an untouchable aire of prestige that the Grammys lost a long time ago.
