I liked Berlin when I went there four years ago, it has an artsy feeling around it, maybe that's what inspired David Bowie's ARTPOP, the Berlin trilogy
i've also been to Berlin (twice). the whole Nazi side to it is fascinating. we went to a car park that was basically dirt, right across from the Jewish memorial and it turned out to be where Hitler killed himself.
its also not as over packed as cities like London and New York etc.
