Nicole is really versatile so her strengths lie in a lot of things, including pop music. The only difference is that this type of music requires a strong voice and ability to emote, which most others lack, so she outshines others easily. In things like pop music, gimmicks, image and perception rule over talent so she's ignored. That's why she's only successful under PCD.
