Sometimes I think Emotions beats Daydream for my second favorite Mariah album.
It's also definitely my favorite album cover from her!

Also every song on Emotions is great, so y'all better not be slandering any tracks on here.
I really wish To Be Around You was a number 1

Emotions is my fav MC album/tied with Butterfly. Its definitely in her Top 3 even though one needs to be in the mood for it

Emotions is my second favourite Mimi album after Daydream.

Unlike Daydream or Butterfly, it took me years to really appreciate it (same for her debut album) because I'm not a big fan of "old school music".

My trinity on the album : Can't Let Go / If It's Over / So Blessed. What a shame she never sang So Blessed live.

I'm probably gonna get stoned to death for saying this, but I don't use Emotions (the song). It's never been one of my go to song for her. Yes, the whistle notes are spectacular. But other than that, IMO it's rather sub par. She's done better.

Case in point. Can't Let Go. Now that's a song I can get behind.

Love takes time is one of my faves ever on her debut. On emotions, the title track has been played on my iPod non stop for a few days.

I'm re-appreciating her masterpieces again. No silly pop girl today will ever get close to emotions, the song.

Can't Let Go should have been #1. It's so epic And the intro of the album version is just dreamy

I know maybe 3 songs the title track, Make It Happen (both giving me life) and a third one I forgot; but let me get into it today since I'm home. cause I know she always serves those vocals. and from what I heard it's an underrated album.
