Now ofcourse digital tracks continue to SLIP the time albums are trying to improve. So, with SEA + TEA it's safe to assume album sales are up this year.
305,000 physical singles sold in just a month? Are they counting EP's as 'store singles' or something? The only major act I can think of that's actually releasing physical singles is 5 Seconds of Summer.

While the numbers are low, look at how the sales of physical singles have almost doubled compared to this time a year ago. As one of the older ATRL members (40 years, 5 months), I would really like to see a resurgence in the physical singles market.

Yeah, I was wondering why physical singles are almost up 100%. They've been down EVERY year since 1997.
No, they count EP's for BB200. & 5SOS's physical singles aren't big, none of 5SOS's physical singles have went #1 on Hot Single Sales in 2015 (measures top selling physical singles).
Men In My Head - Century Love (feat. 50 Cent) has been #1 on Hot Single Sales all 2015, and it's clearly not selling much since the song isn't known (not on H100, R&B/Hip-Hop Charts, Radio, isn't in the Top 1500 on iTunes).
I'll send an e-mail to Billboard and see if it can get answered.

"Century Love" by Men In My Head Featuring 50 Cent has been the Number One selling Physical Single for the last nine weeks, and the single has been out for 12 weeks.
I will try to include the link to the chart here. I don't know how well this will work though.

Men In My Head also had the biggest selling Physical Single of 2014 too. See if you can get some numbers for this song. Thanks!

If CIL wasn't Album only it would pick at number 1 on ITUNES EVERYWHERE! The demand and the buzz is there more than half a year and the version is a masterpiece. Such a lazy move!
I can't believe everyone is buying that rip-off version because Bey's isn't available....
