All the hints were there sis. With unapologetic being the biggest, Rih has always had that alternative innovative side to her, which is about to peak and blow up with R8 it seems

Same here, honestly. Even Rihanna's edgy or left field track still had traces of pop in them. I never expected her to stray THAT far from her signature sound.

Also for R8 album shoot. The photograph's granddaughter said it was for a magazine AND for her new album. She attended the photoshoot too

Don't be extra, not that specific. But I was expecting anything. And I wasn't surprised by the "folk indie" vibe especially with how raw her vocals sounded in the R8 snippets

i meant buzz single in the sense that she's not dropping the album after it, but instead after she releases a second single that has taken off and flourished. it's obvi the lead single but another single is coming that will smash harder/receive more promo. does that make sense???
