I know I haven't posted much but I've been lurking base almost daily to stay up to date on things.

I heard FFS early this morning and I was completely BLOWN Away. It's minimalistic, sounds rough, but it's still an excellent song. The lyrics, even Kanye's singing actually work.

This is the sound I wanted her to go for, and not only did she do it BUT she exceeded my expectations. I can see this song being covered a lot, and I can see this song being somewhat of a slow burner. I won't pay the haters any mind because Rihanna took an honest risk once again and showed a different side of herself. If this is any indication of her new body of work then she's won me over already.

Will be downloading this week.

This is more or less how Diamonds did it's first 48 hours, I think WFL did far worse than this at first but both ended up dominating much later. I can see this fairing similarly. A performance will help BUT I think we learned with Una when she lets her songs shine individually they always do well on their own instead of overshadowing eachother
