I know people like to throw generic shade about "most dated discography" etc. but listening to some of Ke$ha's local hits and... so much beeping, it sounds so artificial and in the moment. Yikes.
Watching Selma. The performances are good and the film has moments of greatness, but it's too slow-paced and boring. Plus, changing President Johnson from someone who supported MLK Jr. to someone who got FBI to monitor him is unnecessary and misleading. I know sometimes modifying historical events is necessary in movies to strengthen the plot, provide opportunities for more drama, etc, but this isn't. Falsification of history just to make MJR seem more heroic, although he is already regarded as a hero without any falsification required, is not cute.
