It's Beyoncé's only logical choice. She's backed herself into a creative corner. If she does hip hop/alternative R&B again, it'll just sound like "BEYONCÉ: Part 2." She might be able to get away with a full album of Funk-African instruments, but be prepared to get a lot of Shakira comparisons if that happens. Her only avenue is pop, at this juncture. A mix of pop and African funk would be great, though.
