Toxic was definitely a monster hit. Didn't it make the Year-End Top 10 for 2004 on MediaTraffic? That year wasn't exactly short on competition either.

I recall EveryTemple reaching the Top 15 in that Year-End Chart too despite not quite smashing in the U.S. What a gLObal era In the Heavens was.

Toxic was bigger than Oops by far so not sure why you wrote it that way. None of them were monster smash hits. Might as well start calling Crazy In Love and Single Ladies and Halo monster smash hits too then.

Will never had a hit prior, nor after that song in the U.S. ever again. It might have smashed in Europe, but it would have done nothing in the U.S. if not for Britney (didn't take off until after it premiered on X-Factor; never would've happened if Britney wasn't a judge on it at the time).

I mean, even Bieber couldn't get him another hit, and after S&S, the Britney Jean era was like 1989 in comparison to #willpower.

This makes no sense considering Derulo has had multiple hits of his own recently.

It would just further prove that Brit carried S&S, and prove that Will can't get a hit without a bigger or better artist attached to the song.
