Can I just say that Katy favoriting Gaga's tweet made me happy, a bit. (for no reason).
At least I know that Katy doesn't hateGaga as much as people think she does. Hopefully Gaga will send a cute tweet real soon, like, for the SuperBowl. It would be perfect. Queens.
Pearl is trash, the only good thing that came out of it was the live performance from POM:3D.
And even that is basic when it comes to Katy's standards.
Why not strive to be the Bette Davis, Katharine Hepburn, Vivien Leigh, Judy Garland or better yet, the Audrey Hepburn of Pop Music?
Her comedic, quirky, farcical, relatable and self-deprecating persona really needs to be thrown away along with the rotting carcasses of Birthday and TIHWD as this era comes to an end.
She has so much potential within her but she always opts to relegate herself behind her "heavenlike" peers.
Just for the record I do really like Pearl. But it's a forgettable song and is borderline filler. But I still love it. The pyramid lyric.
Did y'all know that OOTB actually had five singles in Australia? One Of The Boys was the third single from the album after Hot N Cold (because it smashed in Australia way before the US so while it was slaying the US they needed to push another single) but it kinda flopped. So then they just pushed Thinking Of You as the fourth single here while it was the third in the US, and that kinda flopped too. Waking Up In Vegas was a moderate hit though iirc.
