Because she tried to buy/campaign herself an Oscar for a terrible movie; and it was during this campaign that she exploited her dead ex-boyfriend (who died many years after they broke up). I mean ffs, she even scheduled a press conference for herself that was to occur when she got the Academy Award nomination (that she obviously later cancelled) - this is absolutely unheard of.
It wouldn't even be a problem if she at least OWNED it, but she still does this whole "OMG I'M SO SURPRISED THAT I'M GETTING NOMINATIONS" schtick still (just see her at the GGs).
To me, she was pretty inoffensive up until this point.
But don't listen to me! Listen to her stans that will just say "OMG BUT FRIENDS ON NETFLIX."

She's the katy perry of acting, average looking with no talent and a vanilla try hard personality, the definition of basic tailormade for basic people, lord knows how they got to where they are right now so it's understandable that people with some taste dislike her
She's a limited talented actress whose only known as being "Rachel" from a popular TV sitcom and the woman whose man left her for another woman.
After years and years of starring in Adam Sandler type movies, she gets one daring role and all of a sudden I'm supposed to think she's some great actress.
