Who cares what she does. The album will not do well unless they have a creative marketing strategy. A surprise release will be better than what her team has tried to pull the last two eras.
She needs a creative promotional strategy, which is possible even without performances. However, I doubt her team is that savvy to pull it off anymore.

Creative Promo Ideas-
Announce the song like 1 week before with a music video teaser/short film
Debut the song on worldwide radio + iTunes
Flashmob with like 500 people all dressed as different Britney's over the years in Times Square + Film it for VEVO (This would probably go viral, which would get her them streaming points before the MV giving her a high debut on the chart)
Music video premiere, make the video shocking or at least something to talk about so that there is a big impact on pop culture when it comes out. Then streaming points paired with radio (Give ha that payola and radio deal, RCA) would probably push the song to #1.
Rolling Stone cover with Britney and Iggy. Iggy dressed as the BOMT school girl and Britney as her teacher. This would be a big talking point and get them lots of publicity.
